"Build a website for your fave fictional character" (#learn #tech)

So I instructed the summer-school students taking my Intro to Websites course 2 weeks ago. Yesterday they presented these brilliant efforts for:

🤖 Ultron
🦇 Batman.. & Robin
🌈 Scott Pilgrim (epilepsy warning)
🇰🇷 Bareum Jeong

GIven that some of them had never coded before, I’m very proud that they all got them to a level they felt confident to publish (albeit just at Bigsoft’s domain and most kept deindexed).
Having the previous Oxford summer course’s amazing examples - as well as building on my now templated Nineteen NinetyFive era webpage - definitely helped this group reach even higher into more advanced CSS & stylish desktop-focused design. It seems some of the girls in particular were really inspired by Tamara’s early example!
