It is with great sadness that I report that Warner Bros. Polar Express Train Ride at Wensleydale Railway, which I was cast in as The Conductor, has been cancelled this Christmas. Yup, that’s right kids: Christmas has been cancelled. Yikes!
I wish there was a “But fear not”, but I fear there isn’t. National lockdown has just been annouced for at least the next four weeks, and we can only hope that rules by Christmas time will not be unduly stringent.
Meanwhile, us performers have to get creative, especially with technology. Things that are now happening: - I’ve been cast in a role (now do you get the title?) in a exciting new webseries, being produced for Amazon Prime by some really talented Bournemouth Uni Master’s Students, and we are currently developing a new role especially for me. Watch this space. - Smalltown Dreamers: The Insterviews is restarting, including with a special Smalltown Dreamers in London special filmed at SAFO Music Group with fellow MAS Records musicians. - I’m still growing my Conductor moustache for Movember! Please donate! Now more than ever, suicidal mental health problems are rearing there ugly heads, and every pound of my £100 target will go to that cause. https://ceruleansounds.com/news/f/polar-express-falls-off-tracks-%7C-me-my-mo-role-on
